Beach bum

Well, actually not a beach bum.....more of a pool girl! Claire went to the beach with us for the first time this summer. As we suspected, she loved everything about the beach except for the sand and water! ha! Anytime just a speck of sand would get on her, even her pinkie toe, she would want it off immediately. She started warming up to the gulf water if we were holding her, but preferred the pool much more! Maybe next year she'll be ready for some sand castles! This weekend we are going back to the beach with some friends while Claire stays home with Grandma. I hope she's a good girl and they have a fun time. We will miss her, but we're looking forward to some relaxation and fun with friends!
