Memorial Day Weekend

Claire got a baby pool for Memorial Day weekend and had a blast playing and splashing around. We also had some friends and family over Monday to grill out!! It was a fun weekend.

Vacation

We all had a great Vacation over the last week! Claire went to stay with Grandma & Grandpa while Mommy & Daddy were at the beach with some friends. She got to play with her niece and nephew, Abigayle and Walter, and just turned into such a big girl! She is finally eating now - YAY!! I'm not sure what Grandma and Aunt Debbie did, but it worked! We spent our first Mother's Day in Baton Rouge also! It was a lot of fun....Claire & Daddy gave Mommy a Cookie Bouquet and some stuff she needed for the kitchen. Claire turned 8 months old while we were out of town and is so close to crawling...I can tell she's ready to start moving around on her own! That will be a whole new adventure!

Strawberry picking

Last Saturday, we all went to pick strawberries at Witt Farm and Claire had fun watching. Once we got home she kept trying to reach for a berry and ended up snatching one and putting it straight in her mouth....we let her have a few tastes and she LOVED it. She does much better feeding herself than eating that mushy baby food. Here are also some pictures of her with Daddy's AU hat....just ignore her messy sweet potato face. Next week, Mommy & Daddy are going to the beach and Claire will be staying with Grandma & Grandpa in Baton Rouge....i'm sure she won't be spoiled at all!! We should have some fun pics to post when we get back!
