Claire and Mommy went to the beach last week with Aunt Debbie, Abigayle, & Walter. Claire surprisingly loved it. She played on her blanket under the umbrella, kept touching the sand in her hands, and even enjoyed the waves. She took a nap for a little while so Mommy could relax in the sun too! The hardest part was carrying everything out to the beach.....I think we took just about everything with us just in case we needed something....if Daddy used to complain about carrying all of Mommy's beach stuff, just wait until he goes back with both of us. While we were there, we also went to visit Fort Morgan and went to the Amusement park to watch Abby & Walter play. Claire was too small to ride anything this year - but maybe next summer.
