Weekend Fun

Claire has been a busy little girl these past 2 weekends. First, we both had off work and school one Friday and took a trip to the zoo with our friends Whitney, Hayes & Tanner. The weather was BEAUTIFUL, and Claire enjoyed watching the animals - even if most of them were sleeping. We ended up getting a family year pass so hopefully we'll be going back pretty often.

Saturday, we enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt at one of Claire's classmates house. It was a lot of fun....swing set playing, Easter egg hunting and lots of bubbles. Claire did not want to leave and keeps asking when we can go back to Sophie's house. It's so cute to hear her talk about her friends now.

Claire had to open each egg to see what was inside before putting it in her basket.

While James replaced our broken stove top this weekend, Claire decided to use the box to take a nap. She put her mat in and made herself comfortable. Night night!

Beautiful Weather

Last weekend was beautiful, so we stayed outside as much as possible. Saturday was spent working in the yard and then enjoying a family picnic at Star Lake. Claire loves to feed the geese and she was not excited about leaving them when it was time to go. By the way, those geese and ducks are not scared to get as close as possible for some bread! Sunday after church we went to James' parents house to play. Paw Paw got a new tractor that he was proud to show off and Claire enjoyed sitting on top of it and riding the Gator with Granny. The weather was perfect and we're looking forward to spending many days at their house this summer. We are ready for spring to come and stay!
