What a big day! Claire rolled over for the first time. I put her on the floor for tummy time, and while I was getting out her toys so that we could start playing she rolled over all by herself!! I put her back on her stomach and she did it again, and then a third time when I called Daddy to tell him the exciting news. I got my camera to take a video clip, but then she stopped….so maybe I can catch her next time?! Very exciting!

Claire is not so sure about this rice cereal business. She enjoys spitting it out much more than eating it, but we still have fun trying every day. I'm sure anything else would taste better, but it's only rice cereal for a couple more months!!

Yucky.....can't I just have my bottle!

Dr. Visit

Claire had her 4 month doctor's visit today and everything went well. The doctor said Claire looks great and is progressing as she should. She weighs 16 lbs 9 oz (95 percentile) and is 25 inches long (76 percentile). Claire is excited that she gets to start eating rice cereal now, so I'm sure there will be some pictures soon. Her first two bottom teeth are also beginning to come in. She's been a little fussy this afternoon after her 4 shots, but I think we'll be all better by tomorrow!

4 Months Old

Claire turned 4 months old this past Sunday! Here are a few pictures from our weekend in Birmingham! Claire went with Mommy to Angel's baby shower and she got a new jumperoo. She also helped celebrate Daddy's birthday yesterday! Tomorrow we go to the doctor for her 4 month check-up and those nasty shots that Claire loves. We'll let you know how it goes!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2008!! We hope everyone had a great holiday. Our First Christmas with Claire was wonderful, and busy....we traveled from Macon to Birmingham, to Baton Rouge, back to Birmingham and then back home to Macon. Claire met the rest of her family and here are just a few pictures from our week!! Well actually, quite A LOT of pictures!! It was fun!!
