It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Claire is 3 months old today!! Yay! She went to her first Christmas party last weekend at the Creel's....and we took some pictures in her Christmas dress. She's really looking forward to seeing Santa this Saturday! We'll post some more pics soon!!

Meeting Hayes

While we were in Birmingham we went to visit our friends Whitney & Joey, and Claire got to meet their son Hayes. He is 5 weeks younger than Claire and they loved looking at each other and playing....it was too cute! They were even trying to hold hands!

Thanksgiving Week

We had a great Thanksgiving in Birmingham! Claire went on her first road trip and met a lot of her aunts, uncles and cousins. She did great in the car.....she slept the entire way! Claire even started sleeping through the night at Granny & Paw Paw's and has been giving us about 8-9 hours each night since we've been home! She really enjoyed watching Auburn beat Alabama on tv while Mommy and Daddy went to the game. War Eagle! This weekend Grandma and Grandpa are in town and Claire is loving it!! We'll post some Christmas pictures soon!

Tummy Time

Claire does not enjoy tummy time, but she's really starting to lift her head! Here are also some pictures of her playing in her crib!

9 weeks old

Dr. Visit

Claire had her 2 month check-up today and everything went well! The doctor said Claire looks great and she is growing like a weed - she is 13 lbs 2 ounces, and 23.5 inches long now. My Aunt likes to say she's pleasantly plump! :-) It was so sad when she had to get her shots - but we've been giving her tylenol since her appointment and she seems to be doing well! We are looking forward to Thanksgiving and the Auburn/Alabama game next week......we can't wait to see some of our family and friends! Hope everyone has a nice Holiday!

Trip to Atlanta

Mommy and Claire went to Atlanta Wednesday to visit Adriane, Taylor and Avery. Claire loved playing with her new friends.....aren't they so sweet!

7 weeks old

Hey everyone! Claire had a lot of fun this weekend with Granny and Aunt Cara. She even got to go shopping at the outlets and get some new clothes! Here is a picture in her jeans from Grandma and the cute AU sweater from Farrah! War Eagle!

Happy Halloween!

Claire had a great first Halloween! She helped us hand out candy to our ONE set of trick-or-treaters. James' co-worker, Robert, came over and Claire showed off her scary tiger costume. There is also a picture of our carved pumpkins.

Claire is really starting to notice more things....she loves looking at her mobile on her swing, and the other picture is of Claire laughing that she woke Mommy up at 4am. Last night Claire slept for 7 hours - I'm not sure this will happen again, but it was wonderful! We can't wait for Halloween tomorrow - Claire is getting excited about dressing up!

Fun Week!

Claire will be 6 weeks old tomorrow. It's true what they say...the time goes by so fast! Claire has been a really good baby. She hasn't had any problems with eating (she definitely enjoys to eat like her mommy and daddy), and she just started sleeping longer lengths of time at night.....last night she went a straight 6 hours. Yay!! Claire is getting bigger every day and she has started smiling more often and making little cooing noises. She's a lot of fun!

Claire was so excited to have visitors this past week. Grandma and Grandpa came to visit for a long weekend, then Aunt Debbie and Abigayle spent the week with us, and after that our friends Farrah, Jodie, Kelcei, Andrew and Leslie came and spent the night and fixed us dinner. We all had a great time - and Claire loved meeting everyone. Here are a few pictures.

Farrah introduced me to this blog web-site, so I'm finally getting a page set up for Claire! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the past few weeks. I'll start updating Claire's blog more often from now on!
