We're still here!

Yes, the poor blog has taken a back seat to everything else these past few months, but I do plan to fully update from Christmas through March as soon as possible. Since my last post, we have found out that baby #2 is a GIRL!! We are super excited, especially Claire. I went in today for my 30 week appointment which means we have 10 weeks or less. The realization has set in that now is time for us to get things ready for another baby in the house! I promise to update with pictures soon!

Thanksgiving 2010

I'm slowly getting caught up....only one month to go! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year at my sister's house in Charleston. My parents and I all met up at Debbie & Chad's the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and stayed through Sunday. It was super fun as always and we ate our weight in food and desserts. Sweets is one thing that will never be missing from our dinner table! We are all so blessed and have many things to be thankful for...especially that we were all able to be together!

The night before we left were pictures at church for the directory....here's a picture of Claire in her pretty smocked dress before we went!

Wednesday night we arrive, and the fun begins...
Heather: "Well Chad, it's because blah blah blah.......what I'm saying is blah blah blah"
Chad: "Is it Sunday yet?"

Thursday while dinner was cooking, the kids enjoyed playing outside. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and a great day for pictures! That was WONDERFUL....b/c we are in LOVE with our new camera!

Walter (almost 5)

Abigayle (7)

Grandpa is still a kid at heart too!

Yay....the turkey is ready!

After everyone was happy with full bellies.....it was time for some family pictures!

The Johnson's are hilarious!

The entire family...including baby #2 for us that is due June 2011! We are beyond thrilled and find out next Monday, January 10, 2011 it it's a boy or girl!

And now it's time for dress-up and more playing:

Ballerina Abigayle

The weekend after Thanksgiving we celebrated Walter's birthday. His birthday, as well as Chad's and Grandpa's, is right before Christmas and always gets mixed in with the Christmas festivities. Chad's is the 22nd, Walter's the 23rd and Grandpa's the 24th. This year we decided to split Walter's apart and had a family party at home after Thanksgiving. Walter turned 5 and loved his cake and gifts.

Happy Birthday to Walter!

Claire and Abby want it to be their birthday too!

"Are you sure it's not my birthday?"

"I think that present says Abigayle!"

Walter is so excited to play with his new Night Fury!
And Abby tries a turn with the light saber.

But Surprise, Surprise....Claire is still eating cake! She may be the slowest eater I know! (but hey, that's good right?!)

Playing at the Paganelli's

We recently went to our friend's house, the Paganelli's, to meet their beautiful twin girls. Claire had a blast playing with Hayes & Tanner, while we got to love on sweet Hadley & Delaney. The babies are absolutely precious and didn't make a peep the entire time we were there. We went a little crazy taking pictures, but we had such great subjects and just recently got our early Christmas present....a NEW CAMERA! We got a Nikon D90 and absolutely love it. Now if we can just figure out what all it can do, we'll be in business.

Introducing.....Hadley

and Delaney!
Claire having fun with Hayes & Tanner's toys. Whitney & Joey have a new house that has a wonderful playroom upstairs. Their house is gorgeous and I love that all the toys can be kept in one location! I'm so jealous!

Halloween 2010

This year for Halloween we had a fun time celebrating at daycare and trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Claire dressed up as Princess Belle and went trick-or-treating with a friend Harrison from down the street. The kids got their pumpkins filled quickly and had a great time. Now we are in December, and Claire still dresses up as Princess Belle every day after school. She is all about the princesses right now....which I must admit is a lot of fun!

Claire with our only baby jack-o-lantern. Every year James and I usually go all out and carve pumpkins all day....well this year we just ran out of time and only did one baby pumpkin for Claire's room. She loved it just as much.
